Yes. Clearly in Cajuste we have a midfielder who cannot start three games in a row. Though why Nunez isn't playing I'm not quite sure. Feels an element of throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks.

Maybe KM wants a more stable base in the midfield two. The last two games we've been so open.

More likely looking for a bit of extra tightening up and harrying in the midfield. Prevent those opposition chances from happening.

does make you think that any creativity has to come up the wings. Can't see much happening centrally.
| Taylor & Matusiwa on 11:34 - Oct 25 with 642 views | SomethingBlue | I don't mind it. Gives us legs and presence in there for an hour. West Brom have had barely any recovery time for this one and I think gaps will open up considerably as things draw on – a fresh Cajuste and Nunez can exploit those. | |

| Taylor & Matusiwa on 11:35 - Oct 25 with 631 views | AljoBlue | Let's see if Taylor can transform himself into the player who drives our team on, integrating those around him into a mesmeric show of passing, creativity and overwhelming force. I do not care if he might score his once a season thunderbolt goal from outside the box, I want to see the player who melds the team around him and drives us on. I have not seen this in Taylor ever before - I see a powerful runner who is trying so hard to stay afloat he has no cohesion with the rest. Maybe with the baggies central midfield reputed to be down to barebones this is the day for Taylor to shine. | | | |

Not really "clearly". What does he do when he does start? Making excuses again for an over-rated player who delivers very little apart from a few party tricks. Cajuste doesn't deserve to start. Christ, he never finishes a game so he should be fresh enough to play 3 games in a row. Hopefully, Kieran has seen through him. Not sure about Taylor, but want to see some energy in that midfield. Good luck to him... this is his chance.

Much of it does anyway (at least on the left). Matusiwa's distribution is not bad.

You can have all the ability in the world, but having a team all fighting for the same thing and willing to put bodies on the line for success will always come out on top. We seem to lack this kind of character in the current group. Lets hope Mckenna can find a balance quickly.

The first Boro goal came from him not busting a gut to block that cross which he should have done the moment he saw Davis go to ground

| Taylor & Matusiwa on 12:12 - Oct 25 with 331 views | Nutkins_Return | I hope Taylor has a blinder wins his spot and goes on to be outstanding this season. However I'm pretty shocked/worried about this change up. He's been with us a long time and whilst I like him and never really let us down he equally hasn't dominated games or looked like the answer. Was hoping for Matusiwa and Nunez today. Just doesn't look like a midfield that can control a game. Nunez and Matusiwa feels like a good blend to me | |

| Taylor & Matusiwa on 12:13 - Oct 25 with 319 views | MrPotatoHead | Sensible. We don’t need the XI best players on the pitch, we need a team. Got to have a couple of water carriers, Cajuste hasn’t cut the mustard so far. | | | |
| Taylor & Matusiwa on 12:17 - Oct 25 with 283 views | SWLondonBlue93 | Not the biggest fan of Taylor but I don't mind it, Cajuste needs a kick up the backside. For all his technical ability and "cheat code" nonsense that gets thrown about, I'm yet to see much evidence he is up for the fight over a 46-game season. | | | |
