Looks likely that Postecoglou will be on his way to Spurs, although plenty of time for that to fall flat yet. With that in mind, who is likely to take over there? This is not a "ooh I'm worried McKenna might go" post.
I don't believe he will be on their shortlist, but I wonder whether he is on their radar at all. I suspect they will look to hire a "bigger name", but find it difficult to figure out what kind of ballpark they will be playing in. Could they attract Potter? Would they want Rodgers back? Probably not, given the way he left them in the lurch.
I have seen mention of Carrick, which would probably help us next season, but despite being a bigger name than McKenna, he has less experience. Scott Brown's name also comes up, but that just seems to be due to his connection, rather than the pragmatic job he has done at Fleetwood.
Lambert and Keane will probably get an obligatory, fanciful passing mention in the weeks to come, but who is a realistic name to take over the job? |  |

I always hear the name of Kjetil Knutsen trotted out for this size of job but nothing ever seems to happen. I wonder whether this might be his time. I've seen Bodø play a few times but they have never stood out as anything special, although they have been playing European elite sides so difficult to judge. | |
