Go to 6 minutes into this episode of this podcast for a musician’s analysis of why this happens. In this case same thing occurs when Sheff Wednesday sing the same chant.
Leaving aside the song, how on earth did Luongo end up with the lowest score (of 6.6) on the TWTD ratings last night?
In recent games, a narrative has built up on TWTD that he is not as effective and influential as he once was, but I just don't buy this at all. And neither, it appears, does McKenna.
Can we sort of the speed it’s sung at first? Sounds like we’ve got it on fast forward at times….
Funnily enough was chatting about this last night with the fam - massimo, chaplin and broadhead songs all need slowing down. When they play the actual music as a medley pre-game at home its nowhere near the same tempo. Its like the tape is getting chewed!
I also said I was surprised Kieffer's song isn't "Moore, Moore, Moore" in a Rachel Stevens stylee (I know not the original but it was out in my yoof)

Most of our songs need to go on for longer too, sing the first verse and that's it...

I'm dissapointed that Kieffer's song isn't based on Bread of Heaven for obvious reasons.
Something like "Burns to Moore and he will score." I think both of them would love that.
