Plate of steamed vegetables to start. Cold baked gammon ( from yesterday's roast) with home cut chips, and a Magnum.

You're not going with gravy then?

I was intrigued to find out yesterday that my assumption that I'd seen an error in the film Denial last night was wrong.

The judge in the case started writing up his verdict. The first word he wrote was 'Judgment'.

'A-ha', I thought, ' an Americanism crept in here. That's clearly not English'.

Turns out the legal profession spells the word as 'Judgment'. Soppy b*ggers. Apparently it's an Olde English spelling.

How true were the words of a Perm Sec, wishing one of his senior staff good luck when she departed for what was then I think the Department for Constitutional Affairs. He said something along the lines of:

'Claire faces two challenges in her new job. Firstly, to bring the administration of justice into a new century [this was taking place in 2003]. Her second challenge is that the century the administration of has to leave is the eighteenth century'.

I did homemade crispy beef with sweet chilli sauce and egg fried rice.

Got one of those air fryer things recently and it is pretty good.

Thai Green Curry

yum

Having a Thai red on Tuesday.

But it's not an authentic Thai, as I'll be going the more Indian route. But less thick as an Indian curry. So a mix between Thai and Indian typical curries.

I'd find any form of baked beans unacceptable with Bangers and Mash, has to accompanied with a decent gravy.

I'm trying to get my head around sausages with apple with tinned baked beans.

Apple. Tinned baked beans.

This has 'No' written all over it.

(Sorry Col85).

Chicken Enchiladas using the leftover meat from Sunday's roast. With garlic and rosemary roast sweet and normal potato wedges.

While that was cooking I made a veggie curry with cauliflower, mushrooms, potato, green beans and many more! Should have a delightful flavour by the time I get to eat it tonight!!
