Agree with the sellotape comment. And why put the stripes down the sides and not on the arms.
Dear ITFC/Adidas - listen up, this is really, really simple. PLAIN blue shirt, with stripes on shoulders arms only (collar optional). Plain white shorts with stripes on side only (looks like they've got that right). Plain blue socks, stripes on top.
^^^ that is your biggest selling kit in decades. You're welcome.
