I thought Burns looked knackered on Tuesday. He's had a few niggles and has been playing 3 games a week. He needs a rest. Thompson is another who looked a little leggy. Not surprising considering he hasn't played a lot of football this season. |  |

Changing both wing backs would be just too much upheaval. Thompson may be injured though but I'd put KVY in his place, Penney hasn't played for ages and he's not shown much when he has played. In one game, maybe two. Tactically he suited MK Dons but didn't deliver the goods in terms of goal threat particularly? I guess ultimately I trust the likes of Bonne and Norwood more in that sense.
To be fair it comes down to how McKenna wants to play. If he thinks Jackson will suit the way we want to set up tomorrow then I can't really argue that. | |

We're keeping clean sheets and making enough chances to win games, so I'd be extremely reluctant to swap out Thompson if he's fit. Can't see that it's worth risking our very good defensive shape in exchange for whatever minor attacking advantage we'll get with Penney or KVY.
Carroll was really important in our good first half on Tuesday but I can see him making way for Bakinson. Front 3 seems to be anyone's guess these days! |  |
