Not sure where Gillian Keegan is, but all he keeps talking about is when he was chancellor. Now he's on about 0.6% growth pre-pandemic levels. Makes you wonder where the money went to build these new schools Gove canned, or keep up the repairs.

How long until it's hospitals or government offices that are crumbling and falling down?

Must be why they built 40 of them recently then.

That’s ok cos we will soon have all the hospitals we need from the £350m Pw brexit saved us and we can start spending that “Boris Bonus” on schools

Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King’s Lynn, (which has a patient weight limit in upstairs operating theatre's and 100's of props holding up the building), Airedale General Hospital, Keighley, Hinchingbrooke Hospital, near Huntingdon, Mid Cheshire’s Leighton Hospital, Crewe and Frimley Park Hospital, Surrey. So far, I expect there will be a few more added to the list.

Spoiler alert: several hospital buildings in the region ARE crumbling. West Suffolk and James Paget in particular have needed(or in need of) multi-million pound fixes and/or rebuilds because they're 1970's pre-gabs that were only expected to last until the early 2000s.

WSH's new build is expected around 2030(with planning still in very early stages
) with them having spent £65M to keep the in something resembling working order. Paget is in an even sorrier state with planning for a rebuild(again slated for 2030) in an even sorrier state.

Both buildings will have been forced to close wards to accommodate contractors carrying out said repairs resulting in loss of capacity and/or moving ward staff around the place.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

But Corbyn

…should have stepped aside, and let somebody competent win an election and implement improvements to public services, through much needed investment. Instead he hung on being dogmatic about ideology and led the party to ruin?

Well said.

Colour me surprised. Any sign of Johnson being held to account yet for all his lies/damage? (Rhetorical question).
