Its commonly accepted that black is the colour to use if you want to merge with the background. Our passing is bad enough without making it harder to distinguish our own players. Keep the red.

Liked that shirt we had at Palace.

Because the red kit really helped us this season! Get the illuminous yellow like chelsea and like and stand out. The black kit looks nice, but for visibility on the pitch I don't think its the best. Balls to what it looks like, make it bright pink if it gives us a little extra. We are going to need all the help we can get next season.

I'm not overkeen on black football kits in general, but I'll reserve judgement till I see it. I was kinda hoping for the old AC Milan-style black and red stripes or something!

Wouldnt buy the red kit, Ipswich in red has never floated my boat. Black is okay but why not white? There will be games when both the blue and the balck will clash with the home team and we will then have to to a white 'special edition'. Marketing ploy me thinks.
Anyway more importantly what about season tickets, have the readies and want to be signing up again. We are moving forward and cant wait for a successful campaign under Keano.

What about the bright orange ones we have had in the past. However best away kit was the black and red striped. However didn't Whelan score a blinding own goal in it against blackburn?

but just for the record, when i started supporting ipswich we had an away kit of yellow shirts and blue shorts
what about yellow shirts, and green shorts? that would look quite nice
our best away kit was the Adidas White shirts, balck shorts and black socks, with a bit or red thrown in if you were called Brian Talbot

I'm just upset they haven't reused the Cream and Brown striped Abbot Ale kit. Or for that matter, the orange one!

Never liked the red myself and will be glad to see the back of it. Black is OK but I always liked white with black shorts like jabberjackson. Also quite liked the AC Milan style red and black stripes or the burgandy with dark blue (?) arms we had (cf Bayern Munich) about 5 years ago was really good too. Anyway, it's all a marketing ploy but if it looks good, no doubt I will fall for it!

if they dont get ar'e in gear we will all be wearing black next season .
