Town and Cardiff are continuing to talk about a proposed swap deal involving Ross McCormack moving to Portman Road and Jon Stead joining the Bluebirds, according to reports in Wales. News of the Blues interest in the Scot first surfaced earlier in the week.

Speaking after last night’s game with Exeter, boss Roy Keane refused to comment on specific targets. On Monday, Keane said that there could be news on Stead’s future later in the week.

Although the Cardiff posts all assume he is coming here and the sum spoken about wasnt massive...... if its that close though not sure he would be playing tonight???
