Reserves Start Season Against Stevenage
Tuesday, 17th Aug 2010 16:26

Town’s reserves start their season with a home game against League Two new boys Stevenage at Playford Road on Wednesday afternoon (KO 2pm). Reserves coach Chris Kiwomya is set to name a young side including the likes of Tom Eastman, Reggie Lambe, Josh Carson, Jack Ainsley and Billy Clark, with Arran Lee-Barrett in goal.

This season’s Totesport.com Combination League East Division contains only seven teams: Town, Stevenage, Colchester, Oxford, Luton, Watford and Southend. Norwich City have pulled out and plan to play only friendlies this season.

Last year Town’s second string, then led by Steve Foley, who left the club over the summer, finished second in the table behind Watford.

The low standard of opposition is a worry.

If Lee-Barrett is going to play for the reserves, when will Murphy get game? What about McLoughlan?

I wonder if there will be a place for Pablo, or is he so out of favour that he can't even get in the reserves side
