1-11 is hard though when the players have names on their shirts (which I like, so long as they are surnames). The number of substitutes is getting out of hand. I would probably say three subs should be allowed, from five named on the bench. I appreciate more subs helps us this season, but not in the Premier League. |

Agreed, as we are the blue and white army I prefer a white away kit (worn only when we play other teams in blue). I like it when clubs maintain their identify as much as possible rather than playing in all different colours. Ipswich in red doesn't feel right to me. |

Europe is under attack, so I could not vote for anyone who admires Putin or campaigned for Trump (who applauded Putin on a red carpet). We have to stand up to aggressors and defend ourselves. I think we need to maintain our nuclear deterrent too. |

It is hard to say, and depends how much is was marketed. I would like to think we could attract a bigger crowd than Norwich, especially being two levels higher. Maybe 3,000 consistently? |

The bottom team in the WSL2 will be relegated, and we need to improve a lot for it not to be us unfortunately. |

I had to give my eyes a rest after the Man City match due to all that advertising. I saw someone in the crowd wearing a half-and-half Man City / Man Utd scarf!! Sky interviewed a player at half-time. |

I am enjoying football so much more without VAR, we can celebrate goals and then kick off again without standing around waiting to see whether or not goals are disallowed. |

Felixstowe did not meet WSL2 ground standards, so the team had to move to a better stadium. I am not sure why we opted to rent Colchester Utd's ground rather than playing at Portman Road, as attendances would have been higher in Ipswich. Birmingham, Bristol City, Charlton, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Utd and Southampton play at their main stadiums. |

Yes, the Portman Road game was a fantastic crowd, in a league where we could choose an opponent we were almost certain to beat such as Plymouth. I suppose Norwich did the same today with Luton. |

It's good to see teams playing in their proper colours. 0-0 would do just fine. |

I just looked up the announcements of tickets sold so far for today's matches: Ipswich Women v Nottingham Forest, WSL2 (second tier), JobServe Community Stadium Colchester: 1,000 Norwich Women v Luton, FAWNL Division One South East (fourth tier), Carrow Road Norwich: 3,000 I expect the final attendances will be higher so will check later. I read the WSL2 average attendance last season was 2,086. I don't think Ipswich Women were far below that last season in the league below, largely thanks to the Portman Road match. | Forum Thread | The big screen listing both teams at 08:31 13 Sep 2025
That was much better I thought, a clean list of the starting 11 of both teams side by side with numbers and names. It made it easy to see a number on a player shirt and to glance at the screen to see who it was. |

I am with Lebara (Vodafone) on a £4.50pm package, which includes EU roaming. I cannot receive any data at all in or near the ground, which is one reason I get annoyed when the announcer does not read out the away team, the half-time results, or the full-time results / latest scores. I see ID offer SIMs for £6pm, including EU roaming, which is a good price if the coverage works well. [Post edited 12 Sep 16:39]
