![]() Tuesday, 30th Oct 2012 16:58 Young midfielder Byron Lawrence netted in the final minute to grab a 2-2 draw for Town’s U21s at Brentford's Griffin Park this afternoon. Earlier, full-back David October had put through his own goal before Jack Ainsley equalised a minute before the break. Luke Norris put the Bees back in front prior to Lawrence levelling with the last kick of the match. Coach Sean McCarthy told the club site: “I think a draw was a fair result in the end and overall I’m happy with the performances of the lads. “Arran made a number of smart saves, whilst I was also impressed with Bilel Mohsni at centre-half and Jack Ainsley up front. "We pushed Jack up top after Jack Marriott came down ill just before the game but he should be OK. “It was also good for Elliott Hewitt and Cormac Burke to get around 75 minutes each, after both returning from injury.” U21s: Lee-Barrett, Hewitt (Hammond 77), October, Mohsni, Whight, Luongo, Berkane (Clarke 86), Lawrence, Burke (Winter 76), Timlin, Ainsley.
