Town Announce Norwich Play-Off Ticketing
Saturday, 2nd May 2015 17:06

Town have announced ticketing details for the two-legged Championship play-off semi-final against Norwich City. The Blues host the Canaries in the first leg next Saturday (KO 12.15pm) with the away game at Carrow Road the following Saturday (KO 12.15pm).

The home leg, which is not included with season tickets, is priced at Grade A and will be available online from ITFC Direct or at Planet Blue.

Tickets for the home semi-final will go on sale to Platinum and Gold Card holders from Sunday 3rd May at 8am, to season ticket holders from Monday 4th May at 8am, Silver Card holders from Tuesday 5th May at 8am and then go on general sale from Wednesday 6th May, 8am.

Season ticket holders’ seats will be reserved until Wednesday 6th May with any unsold seats released for general sale at 8am on Wednesday 6th May.

Platinum members, Gold members, Silver members and season ticket holders will be able to buy their own seat plus one additional ticket per customer number. Supporters purchasing once seats are on general sale may buy up to four tickets per customer number. All fans will receive a paper ticket for the home semi-final.

Fans on the pre-payment cup scheme will have their ticket automatically processed on this evening.

For the second leg, tickets will be sold one per customer number and only online. The club will use the priority customer number entitlement based on the advance purchase of away tickets throughout the season, as previously used for earlier game at Norwich.

Supporters receiving this priority entitlement will receive a letter outlining how to purchase their ticket early next week. Platinum members will have their tickets processed in the usual way.

After that Gold Card holders can purchase their tickets from Saturday 9th May at 8am, season ticket holders from Sunday 10th May at 8am and Silver Card holders from Monday 11th May at 8am, before any remaining will go on general sale on Tuesday 12th May at 8am.

Town have been allocated 2,042 tickets at £25 for adults, £15 for senior citizens (65+),£10 for under-17s and £5 for under-12s. For full details of ticketing for both legs including coach travel, visit the club site.

I logged on at 8.05 this morning and had to wait 30 mins. I then logged on again about 8.30ish and the wait was an hour. At 9.30 the wait was 1.5 hours.

I was trying to buy 6 tickets with 3 season tickets but failed miserably. This online stuff is ok for simple purchases but we could really do with a bit more customer service. No printer at home either so had to find somebody with a printer. Club needs to realise that not everybody can do online purchasing.

The ticket price was £43 as well which was a bit of a shock to the wallet.

Oh well. Just hope I need to find some cash for Wembley tickets.

Cannot even get INTO the ITFC now. I give up. Let someone else have my flipping ticket. Sick of how this is turning into a disaster and cannot get anything done because of it.

knew it would be busy, logged in at 9.30 and the waiting time was 90 mins but had things to do so logged off. Went back on at 11 and had the same waiting time. Stayed on line and the actual waiting time did drop quicker than stated so it took about 25 mins. Unfortunately the site doesn't log you direct to your own seat (season ticket) so had to fanny fro a while to through a couple of options before it allowed me to log in whereupon my seat did appear. All done now so hang in there. I do take on what a previous member said about the printing. I do have a printer, you have to wait for the confirmation email which then gives you the attachment to print tickets. Good luck to those of you who cant sit by a computer all day. Now lets put right the last two performances against the budgies

Shouldn't there be some sort of Big Screen event at Portman Road ? Say even on the practice pitch area ?
