Pringle Loan to Be Extended But Not to Final Date
Monday, 7th Mar 2016 10:39

Town boss Mick McCarthy has confirmed that Ben Pringle’s loan with the Blues will be extended from its initial month, which is up this week, through to the end of the season and the play-off semi-finals, but not the final if the Blues reach Wembley.

“It was always taken that we’re taking him to the end of the season but that we can have a break in an emergency loan,” the Town boss said.

We understand that the break would stretch Pringle's 93-day short-term loan to allow him to play for the Blues in the play-off semi-finals if they make them but not the final on Saturday 28th May.

Pringle, 26, has been a big success since joining the Blues from Fulham, scoring the winning goal in the last two games and having made four appearances in total.

I love that you can have a break in an emergency loan. If only you could have a "break" during a real emergency...

we haven't got any Thursday games, so why doesn't he take a loan break every Thursday and by the end of the season the loan will reach the play-off final.

This is why we should have signed half season loan deals in January. Highly unlikely that Pringle wouldn't have been available. I suspect Evans wanted to save money and now we have been caught out by injuries. The question is whether the club will finally learn from this. I said in January that even though disappointed Evans wouldn't invest more significantly, we should as a minimum bought in a couple of half season deals.

Sign him up in the summer.

No way we are in the play off final anyway

Wouldn't it be great just to be in the Play Off final, Pringle or no Pnngle. Ryan Fraser will probably be fit by then anyway.

Phil, further to problems with your website, have just had warning from Norton(Symantec)who have warned me off TWTD ftb due to virus attack.

Strangely enough this has coincided with a message from Markwill45,which has appeared on TWTD as a flashing red message alert(next to logout)telling me to support Norwich

However long he is here for Pringle has slotted in well and his link up with Foley is encouraging, re other comments on website performance I'm glad that mine is not the issue with it(re virus and freezing) my main issue was the down the nose comment from Mr Ham treating me like a little school boy!!!

I don't think we should be concerning ourselves with the play-off final. Let's claw our way into the Play-off first!!
