Love the players on the bench singing 'we are going up' just before the final whistle blows, you can tell how excited they are!

I wouldn't watch a game there - there'll be no atmosphere

Let's say....
at 10:40 29 Apr 2024

From the EFL website:

Method of Determining League Positions
At the end of each Season the Club in each Division scoring the highest number of points shall be declared the Champion Club of that Division. Three points shall be awarded for each League Match won. One point will be awarded to each Club for a drawn match. If two or more Clubs have scored the same number of points their position in the Division shall be determined on goal difference, that is to say, the difference between the total number of goals scored by and against a Club in League Matches in that Season, and the higher or highest placed Club shall be the Club with the highest goal difference. If any two or more Clubs have scored the same number of points and have the same goal difference the higher or highest placed Club shall be the Club having scored the most goals in League Matches in that Season.
If two or more Clubs have the same number of points, goal difference and goals scored the highest placed Club shall be determined by the respective League records against each other, taking into account in order of precedence, points gained, goal difference and goals scored.
If the above procedures do not separate the Clubs then the highest placed Club shall be determined by reference to the following criteria, in the order prescribed:
number of wins;
goals scored in away games; or
in accordance with the provisions of Regulation 9.4.
Where two or more Clubs are tied after the procedures set out in Regulations 9.1 to 9.3 inclusive then the highest placed Club shall be the Club which has accumulated the lowest total number of penalty points (as determined in accordance with Regulations 9.5 and 9.6) following the completion of 42 League Matches in the relevant Season

Why were Hull City
at 21:38 28 Apr 2024

The EFL only allow you to wear a non-home kit at home once per season. I liked the Blackout shirt as a one off and don't mind us wearing a kit like that at home once a decade or something if there's a valid reason, but if we started wearing gimmick kits or away kits at home once a season every season I'd get pretty tired of it.

Brilliant show, my favourite episodes are the scaffolding one, the one about vacuum cleaners, and the one about making risotto.

Anyone looking for a 3 bed home in Ipswich?

Even if Ipswich became a city, I'd still want the football club to be called Ipswich Town FC.

Another ticketing gripe
at 13:45 9 Apr 2024

TBF I reckon that's because they want to get tickets on sale ASAP but away clubs don't give them the tickets until late. My gripe related to this is they used to email the day before your priority band went on sale, but I haven't received any of these emails lately, and when I received them before it would often be days after tickets had been on sale for my priority band - hopefully the club can look into sorting these emails out.

Todays ticketing

Got no issue with a handful of ex players getting tickets, or Fabio Wardley as he is has strong links to the club, but giving 400 tickets away to people who would never usually make away trips is ridiculous. Would Manchester United ever give an entire away allocation to their thousands of staff? No.

Lovely viewing, but the pedant in my wishes it had the current EFL Championship logo, rather than one from about 8 years ago!

at 17:16 26 Mar 2024

If you go under History on your ticket account, you can see if they're printed by the ticket office yet (will be a printer logo with a cross if not printed yet) - mine aren't showing as printed so I reckon they're sorting Blackburn tickets first.

when will season ticket details be out
at 23:56 19 Mar 2024

Also, we would have to give circa 3k tickets to away fans in the Premier League, compared to 2k in the championship.

And if we needed to knock down the Cobbold stand in a few years then we'd lose a large percentage of capacity

Could make a claim for Tom Lawrence, arguably he saved us from a relegation battle in 16/17.

But in terms if quality, Omari has to be right up there

If you go back on the ticket site for that game, it shows that away fans are in block V1 of the Cobbold upper.

The rule is minimum of 3000 or 10% of capacity for Premier League, minimum of 2000 or 10% of capacity for EFL.
