Just back after a long drive each way. Were were on it first half but did fade and I thought our front 2 looked tired towards the end. McGoldrick did not look fit when warming up which may explain why he didn't feature. We can go to Carrow Road and nick this I believe as their defence did not look assured. COYB! |

I've got a funny feeling that league form isn't going to matter at all in the playoffs. Norwich will be thinking they are favourites but they will struggle at a packed and noisy Portman Road. The expectation and pressure is all on them and I predict they will crumble. COYB! |

Well that was a tense 90 minutes! I thought Sears was great in everything except his shooting and could have had a hat trick. Murphy led the line brilliantly as always and deserved his 2 goals. Over the season we deserve the playoffs and have to play like we did at the beginning and end of the game today and not the middle third. The Blackburn fans really didn't seem to wan us to go up did they? COYB |

Isn't it much better to be worrying about getting in the playoffs than worrying about relegation or having nothing to play for at this stage? I will be at the game and hoping for a couple of early goals but my gut says it will be tense till the end. |

Cresswell is one of the few players who actually doesn't need to apologise to the fans as at least he gives 100% effort every time. We need to stop playing 4 central midfielders who get by-passed by quicker, younger opposition players. |

I went to the game last night and, Lee-Barratt and Cresswell apart, it was the most inept performance I have seen by an Ipswich team in over 30 years of attending games. It was interesting that Jewell only emerged from the bench once to yell at the ineptitude, almost as though he had lost interest. The fact that he used all 3 subs by the end of half time made absolutely no difference to how badly we played. The real worry is it looked as though we need a massive clear out rather than having spent millions on a new team. I can't see a way back for Jewell from this. |
