On some level, I might agree. At the moment, Ranieri just isn't the right man on the right place right now. But... After being so important for Leicester, after the league title, it just feels so weird. It's a bad move for their publicity. Firing a hero so shortly after last season is just wrong I guess. |

Certainly I'm going to stick around. However, I'm a very active member on a Feyenoord message board, so they have my priority ;). It's way easier for me to write in Dutch, lol (pretty strange. My reading is fluent, my listening and speaking are almost fluent, but writing English is so hard). I have no idea btw. Rotterdam is not a cheese-city actually. AZ Alkmaar is more the 'cheese-club' from the Netherlands, however, Ipswich is quite familair with AZ I think ;). |

So, I'm the Dutch person who visited Ipswich-Leeds today with my father (thanks again SitfcB for helping me with the tickets!). Certainly enjoyed the game. Ipswich was better, sadly they didn't finish the game in the second half. It wasn't a bad performance at all against the number 5 of the table. McGoldrick caught my attention in the first half, great player. His style is a bit like Tonny Trindade de Vilhena from Feyenoord. Ironically, the same day we came to Ipswich Town was the day that former Dutch Ipswich stars Muhren and Thijssen returned to Ipswich for the book. I already bought the Dutch version of Game Changers about six months ago; it's an interesting book. After the game, me and my dad visited the Black Horse. Very authentic English pub. We enjoyed the whole experiene today, I'm certainly going to return to Ipswich for another game (hopefully in the Premier League -or even better- against Feyenoord in the Europa League!). |

Guidetti was our striker back in 2011/2012. It was a great season, the year before that we had our worst season ever: we finished 11th, we lost 10-0 to rivals PSV and we were almost bankrupt. All hope was gone, and out of nowhere, we finished the season after that 2nd. This year would had been a great season to visit Feyenoord! After 18 years without a Dutch title, we are leading the table with a 5-point difference. Only lost one game so far (ironically against Go Ahead, who were at the very bottom at the time). In Europe we defeated Manchester United at home, but it wasn't enough to advance in a poule with ManU and Fenerbache. Still, a great achievement. If you ever want to visit de Kuip, you should buy the tickets long before the gane. All home-tickets for the rest of this season are sold out already. However, you can buy them easily second-hand. And luckily, I'm not a Leeds-supporter :p. |

Thanks again SitfcB! I'm looking forward to visiting Ipswich Town again! When I was young, me and my dad visited Ipswich Town-Burnley (6-1 win). We loved the ambiance back then, it was pretty similair too my favourite Dutch club (Feyenoord Rotterdam). After that, we visited some other Ipswich-games, but this is the first time in a looong time we are going to visit Ipswich again. After everything, it is still my favourite club in England :) |

I know, in the Dutch language 'next weekend' means 'this weekend', that's why! That would be great by the way! We are leaving this friday so we can print the tickets at home. |

Hello everyone! My name is Olivier, I'm from the Netherlands. Next weekend, me and my father are going to Ipswich because we want to visit the Ipswich Town-game against Leeds. However, because we aren't regular visitors, for us it is impossible to buy tickets online (only people who have bought tickets between 06/07 and 15/16 are eligible to buy tickets for this game). It would be really sad if we can't visit the game since we already booked tickets to visit and stay in Ipswich. So, my question is: do you know if it's still possible for us to buy tickets for the game (either online or at Portman Road next saturday), even if we can't buy them online? Thanks already! Greetings from a Dutch Ipswich Town-supporter, Olivier. |
