That's a fair and honest assessment from MM, if he goes then the summer is the best option for us now as it's too far through the transfer window for any new manager to make a difference unless he's an immediate appointment or throws stupid money at players (which we all know ME won't do). Lets see if his plan of pushing the youngsters bears fruit or we're back to the "old guard"! |

You can't begrudge him the opportunity to play at the highest level but without him I have no confidence in our current front line to score anything like the goals we would need.
I also have no confidence that there would be much of that money given to MM to spend on a replacement, unfortunately it's difficult to pick up proven goalscorers for peanuts! |

I can't decide whether Bramble would be a good signing or not, on the plus side he's an experienced Premiership CB who loves ITFC and is still young enough to have a few good years in him. But whenever I've seen him play (both for ITFC and elsewhere) he does have a tendancy to lose concentration at vital moments, something thats not a great trait in a defender!
Saying that I trust MM's decision so what will be will be. |

Never rated him as much of a player and still don't but as a strong target man he would do a job, just don't expect much else from him.
Personally I think we could use the money we would have to spend on his wages on a good couple of younger players who are not just out for a final payday. |
