Seems like you first need to decide if you want it cold or the possiblity that it might be at least a bit warm. Seville is likely to be your best bet for warmth that time of year. Lisbon also should be ok. As well as the city of Lisbon there is also Sintra (up in the hills) and Cascais/Estoril (seaside resorts), both of which are very short train journeys from Lisbon, so you can pack plenty of different things in if you so want. Any eastern european city is likely to be pretty cold Dec/Jan. |

Last time we went there we visited the Polar museum at the Scott Polar Research Institute. Quite interesting and free if I remember right. |

Will look out for Rolys fudge, never had that before! The Toffee Shop fudge (made in Cumbria) is my favourite. They sell it at Lakeland. Its our treat at Christmas as its not cheap. |

In the Coniston area a much easier walk would be around Tarn Hows, it's just under 2 miles. Also the Steam Boat Gondola is on Coniston Water.. West of Lake Windermere is Hilltop in Near Sawrey, Beatrix Potter's house. All of these are run by theNational Trust so details can be found on their website. |
| Forum Thread | Can't cancel direct debit at 20:23 16 Apr 2017
So I am a bit slow cancelling my season ticket and direct debit. I thought I would leave it a while and see if I changed my mind. I haven't. It's not just what is going on at the club it's personal circumstances as well. So I have today emailed the club to tell them I am not renewing. Then I logged into my bank account to cancel the direct debit but it's not there, presumably because the last one for this year has gone out. So I logged into my cust no on itfc and apparently I already purchased my season ticket on March 21 by direct debit! I cannot change anything on there, so I will have to hope the club take notice of my email. Anyone else had this happen? |

Who would have thought they would have that offer on for the Newcastle match on a bank holiday? It's usually for a couple of lowly matches - oh hang on that's us every match now. A few years ago we would be nearly sold out for Newcastle at home. |

I often think that now but I always go, just like I never boo or leave early! |

I remember the Bristol City game well, not because I was there but because I wasn't! We were on holiday in Mallorca, I think I probably didn't have a mobile phone then and I recall continuously checking the score on teletext. I couldn't believe it, we'd scored another every time I looked! Can't remember who had my season ticket but I know they were very impressed. Now if I can't go I have real trouble finding someone to use it! [Post edited 3 Feb 2017 17:41]
