We have a big chunk of budget that is still to be allocated -The cash that was allocated to Ainsley Matland-Niles, Feeney, Fraser, Pringle, Tabb, Toure, Varney, Foley etc ...McCarthy was pretty shrewd last season with the Mings/ Pitman Fraser deal and I am hoping that he has something fairly similar lined up this year but we are just waiting on other clubs to buy players etc before that can happen...maybe a boro or other promoted club player.. I will stay as patient as I can be but will complain if we havent signed anyone and are proper balls come the beginning of the season!! |

We have a decent squad -But at the moment it's quite weak compared to half the league. I'm underwhelmed by the transfer activity and urgency in signing quality players in comparison to others. Someone please cheer me up and give me hope! |

Couple of points -McGoldrick was injured for half the season but with Jonny WIlliams on loan we were ok and created goals. I fully expect MM to sign one or two quality Loan players in the mould of Lingard or WIlliams again this season -MM has said this himself.
Also, We have signed Henshall and Stewart who are creative, therefore we will be scoring more this season. Last season we could have created many more chances than we did, so just having two new wingers in will be a big asset this season. |
