Interesting how many people complain about loan signings,I'm sure they were very upset with Williams, Fraser, Lawrence and Huws amongst others. Also, Huddersfield had a lot of loans last season, and they seemed to do quite well.
Sure, I would love to see us field a team full of Town academy products and be successful, or at least a team owned totally by us, but this is modern day football. We can't even match clubs for a player who wants to be here, when other clubs in our division are bidding for. So if we can build a team that can at least challenge playing a few loans signings, I'll take it, and I'm sure those whiners out there will too. |

They absololutly should qualify from their region. Oz somehow get to play in a different region, but the World Cup is about bringing the game to everyone, or so FIFA would have us believe. And isn't the beauty of it, or on a national scale, the FA cup, the opportunity for everyone, no matter the size. I love watching nations like NZ bring larger nations down to size. Look how well they did 3 years ago.
Watched the game yesterday, Tommy didn't mention the three goals that came from very poor marking, especially the second, although only once by him. The first, very questionable, he was offside by a ants manhood. |

Greggors, apparently Bein is showing Bolton vs QPR in the US, so probably won't be on tv here. However, I know a whole bunch of Leeds fans who get a lot of their games online, so you will probably find it there, especially if it's on tv somewhere in the world. |

Ridiculous comments mate, the club budgeted for players, but do you really want us to pay over the odds on fees and wages? The club tried to off load dead wood, but who wants to pay for our dead wood, so we were cutting our cloth to get the players we needed. Yes it's still a work in progress, but I think 22 clubs in this division are. We aren't that far off, we need a little defensive cover, most area we seem sweet now. |

Just worked out the hourly rate of this job, and know why I can't take it and why they don't get decent coaches. I'm not bad, and even I won't stoop to that salary, and working for Town would be a dream come true.
This is the problem with England, I can never take a job there, because the salary is b/s. They pay peanuts for a specialized role. I work half the hours of this position, and earn twice the pay. |

I love the way everyone seems to know he is the next best thing and was going to be Towns Number 1 for years to come. I saw him training with the US team for a few days and didn't seem all that good, decent shot stopper but not a lot else, plus he didn't hold the ball well when saving it.
I'm glad Jewell got rid, obviously wasn't that good. |

Kesgrave, firstly PJ said the youngsters would get a chance by the end of the season, not in a particular game until now. What would be the point throwing them in against a very tough Brum team chasing promotion? Secondly, there are no longer rules on playing weakened teams. They were abandoned last summer due to clubs power. Clubs have a squad of 25 senior players and you can use any of them you want.
Newboy, you really talk rubbish lad. PJ hasn't shown a lot yet, but let's see where we are next Christmas, you might be eating those words. He did a fantastic job at Wigan and discovered certain talents such as Valencia ect, not bad players and I don't think he walked around with a sign saying he was talent.
Finally, good move by PJ. Poor season so let's look forward. No point playing young lads against Brum, they are too strong, the Millwall and Donny will be like two early pre season games. No time to look back, time to kick onwards and upwards. |

I've seen Golref "Goal Line Technology" in action at a coaching conference last year, it took a matter of seconds from the ball crossing the line to the system alerting the ref. Absolutely incredible, I was against slowing the game down until I saw it, now I am 100% behind the system. People who think it would slow the game down need to wake up and smell the 21st Century. |

I think it's more likely that being International team mates before their time here, they know each other well. He probably thinks if he is going to use an example; use one that can firstly take it on the chin, and secondly won't take it as an offence.
I think Edwards is given a time, I don't like him at right back as I think his positioning let's him down too often. But as a back up player he isn't bad, and he does work hard for the squad. |
