I was a season ticket holder with my son up until a couple of weeks ago and have been taking him as a treat as I can luckily afford it, he is now 14 and after 7 years going together he is just bored with it all so why would I keep spending and driving 50 miles there and back if their is no enjoyment at all, it's actually becoming a real effort, does it mean I won't look out for ipswich of course I will I still feel passionately for them, may be I'm not a true blue in some supporters eyes but ultimately it's my time and money and I'm sick of the whole thing. I honestly take my hat off to those that keep going and I wish ipswich all the success going forward |

Why does everyone keep saying we need more money, I hope I'm singing off the same hymm book money and league position doesn't seem to be the issue, I don't doubt we all would love to because prem side playing arsenal man u etc...but tobthe vast majority reading between the lines this has little relevance to the fact we all just want a little entertainment each week?
I've watched lots of academy games, recently u15 v Tottenham, at none of these fixtures have I seen one big lump from the back to the front or anything of the sort they are all playing football
Rio Ferdinand said man u success was built on all ages playing the same from u9 to first team, we definitely don't come anywhere close, I just cannot see how McCarthy intends to use the resources of a passing academy into his side's now or in the future
Please can we stop using the 'his got no investment' as an excuse for dire football and poor selection, I'm in the 'we have got some good football players' camp and we just need to get them (or let them) play (sorry bit long but I feel better now) |

I agree the ref was shocking but what planet is he on we completely bossed them from 13 seconds until the end, had loads of possession and for the most part played out from gerks and into the midfield.
