IFollow Question
at 18:29 2 Mar 2021

Does anyone know how you select the home commentary?

I’m watching on a laptop via ITFC.co.uk and on home games it automatically uses Radio Suffolk and away games it automatically selects no commentary.

I can’t see an option anywhere to select?

Any ideas?

Interesting, thanks, I’ll give that a try for Saturdays game.

It wouldn’t even stream a picture to the TV via the app, but could see the game on my iPad. If all else fails I know that the laptop will stream but thanks for the tip 👍🏻

Hoping that someone might be able to help with a technical query with iFollow here...

I bought an Apple adapter that plugs in to my iPad with an HDMI adaptor to stream to my smart TV. For some reason, it works on just about every streaming service apart from iFollow (YouTube etc), has anyone else had this issue?

I can plug the HDMI cable in to my laptop and steam it to my TV that way but using my IPad and the iFollow app would be easier if it worked!

Thanks in advance!

I’ve supported Ipswich for over 30 years, I am pretty sure I have had enough experiencing of knowing what losing feels like!

It’s more about the club being rotten from the top and being unable to do anything about it is the worst part I guess.

Sad times.

Heartbreaking...
at 22:42 3 Mar 2020

As I sat there tonight thinking that being an ITFC supporter of 30+ years couldn’t be any worse than right now, my 8 year old son, who has supported ITFC home and away for the last 4 years with me and loves his football turned to me and said ‘Dad, I don’t want to come on Saturday’...

Really did feel like a kick in the nuts, but can I blame him? Anyone who takes their kids will know how sad that is to hear.

Yes it’s been bad recently but tonight was an absolute all time low for me, in a ‘must win’ game PL picks a shocking starting XI and from there on each and every one of them proved that they aren’t fit to wear the shirt. There was nothing! No guts, no passion, no desire, no bravery, no quality and against an awful Fleetwood team that came and did a professional job on us.

All capped off and summed up by 88 Fleetwood fans singing ‘you’re not Ipswich any more’.

Never a truer song sung...

Glen Driver resigns from Braintree

Afraid not portmanking, just your average ITFC fan that may or may not know Glen well enough to know when other people haven't got the first clue what they are talking about.

Glen Driver resigns from Braintree
at 12:03 12 Nov 2019

Dear oh Dear! I thought some of our (ITFC) fans were deluded but you my friend top the lot!

Your own Chairman came out at the start of the season and said that this season was all about survival, yet here you are thinking that just because you spent 1 or 2 season in the Conference Prem on a sizeable budget that it entitles you to be challenging this season on a budget that is the LOWEST of any team in that division!

You do realise that when Glen took over that Braintree Town had just ONE player signed on? So that squad you have now was assembled by him from scratch and is made up of players from lower leagues because your club can't afford anything else? Yet you pin point a couple of poor performances against lower placed teams and fail to mention how they went to full time teams and won against all the odds and he left with the club 9th in the table, one win outside of the play off places (which they achieved Saturday).

I hate to break it to you fella, but if you think things are bad now, I fear for you over the coming months.

Oh I forgot, because you are Braintree Town, most of the best part time players are going to come and play for less than they'd get at any other club at that level!! lol

What time did everyone get back?
at 18:14 18 Sep 2019

Same here, parked at the stadium, took us half hour just to get out of the car park. A5, M1, M25, A12 and back in IP1 just before midnight.

Shattered today but don’t care because last night was bloody brilliant and I loved every minute of it!

Superb 1st half, 2nd half we never got going and although MK had a lots of possession I thought we defended really well and limited them to a few chances. Getting a little bit of luck at the moment but it’s about time.

Lamberts passion at Full Time was lovely to see, Am absolutely loving following the Town at the moment.

Him and Patrick Brothers were particularly impressive. To be fair, 2-0 flattered Needham, it could have been anything!

And Hendon's last minute winner at Leatherhead last night means that Leiston are in the playoffs barring some freak results on Saturday!

They did beat Folkestone in the FA Trophy I think it was at your place, had multiple injuries and played a lot of youngsters, no idea whether you had your full strength team out or not.

But league wise, you gave us a hiding at our place and I think the Leiston manager said over 2 games you were the best team they'd played this season.

Exactly.

I thought Folkestone could have been the dark horses but Dulwich blew them away Saturday.

I just think it would be a huge effort for a club of Leistons size/budget to make the playoffs and as you say, form tends to go out of the window in the one games.

Good parking at the ground, they also have an over flow car park so shouldn't be any problem, even for a big crowd.

He was last season, just had a real tough time this season. Not stopped him working hard but confidence was low, Leiston then signed Mills from Bury and he's done well and then Jake Reed from Lowestoft so found himself on the bench. He went out for a month, scored a few goals and returned Saturday to score 2 goals off the bench so hopefully he gets a start tonight as Needham won't be pleased to see him starting.

I know for sure that they want to go up. They have recalled Blake and Eagle from loan spells so that they are at full strength for the run in and hopefully the playoffs.

I guess a lot of it is down to the FA, if they put them in the Conference South I don't think that would do them much harm, but if they put them in the North like they did Lowestoft that could spell trouble.

I expect a good crowd tonight though. I know a few ITFC fans that were planning on not renewing and getting a season ticket at Leiston. That may have changed now that Mick has left but I really enjoy watching them play.

Reed was a great signing and Blake is just back from a loan spell at Norwich Utd and he is chomping at the bit. I hope these two start up front tonight.

I agree, I think Dulwich look the best of the rest (behind Billericay) and they would have 'home' advantage (I know they play at Tooting now). But if you are in there, you have a chance.

Nope, last season was there highest ever points tally and they have surpassed that this season.

I was at the game also, was a free kick they conceded from, defence switched off, they took it quickly and ended up in the back of the net. Was heart breaking for the players and management staff.

Hopefully they can go one better this season. I think if they win tonight they will be there, goal difference could play a part and that's in their favour at the minute.
