If you mean Hladky's face, at least on telly he looked a bit like not staying. If you mean the sub and the gesture just the same as last season. |
| Forum Thread | Barnsley-Bolton League 1 playoffs at 19:50 3 May 2024
Trying to take my mind off Saturday and stop reading the news and threads on here for the 4th time, I decided to take a look at Barnsley v. Bolton. Boy, after 15 minutes I returned on here. The game is unwatchable. Just running and hoofing, no 3 sensible passes put together. Is it me or these two teams were one of the better ones last season in L1? Is this how far we've come? Or did they become so much worse? In the meantime? Roll on Saturday! and as soon as I posted Bolton go on and score a pretty good goal... ta [Post edited 3 May 19:57]

and have a huge run of bad results, please please please ITFC never sack McKenna. I'm sorry for getting ahead of myself, still a game to go, but on Saturday the forum will be all about one thing. Yes! 22 years of waiting... I could cry COYB! |

Also the commentary of the game on the Hull channel, very honest and respectful of Town. Unlike some we've heard during the season. |

Let's hope he's true to his Norwich roots. Also that game might be one chance of redemption in a pretty bad end to the season from their perspective and lifting the spirits before play-offs. |

On the telly it was louder than the Hull support most of the time. Take a bow indeed. |

Reading the comments, you'd say we're a pretty sh*te team. Passing from the back is awful, defense awful, goalie awful, we keep not stuffing other sh*te teams in this sh*te league, God only knows how we do score goals, we don't have what it takes when it's make or break... basically we'll be the worst promoted team ever in the history of the championship and will do so purely because Leeds and Southampton are more sh*te than us. This is how reading some of the rants feels like. Some of the comments do beggar belief. In the meantime, we play good entertaining football, exciting matches, broke how many records for the newly promoted team and keep the promotion to the PL in our own hands in what is maybe the toughest Championship season ever. Honestly weird perception from some. Counter-rant over. :) |

Yeah. Better would be "sentenced Leeds to play-offs". |

But we could do with 1 win and 2 draws from our games? That would do it. |

If Leeds lose tonight and we win tomorrow is that it? |
| Forum Reply | 1-0 Hull at 22:09 24 Apr 2024
I know. But that game was never a 4-3 game, should've been 5-1 to Leeds, Boro scored out of nothing. |
| Forum Reply | 1-0 Hull at 22:04 24 Apr 2024
First half 50-50 game, second half Coventry pinned them in their box, they looked pretty overwhelmed until Thomas gifted them a goal out of nothing and Coventry players just gave up for 15 minutes. Was not impressed tbh but unbeaten in 5 now, Saturday won't be easy. That being said, would prefer an open game instead of another "Boro-fest". |

I don't know. Hull now unbeaten in 5, Cov just lost their 4th in a row. |

Might not be a bad thing that. If Hull opens up and goes for it we might prefer the more open game with them. And if we lose, Norwich might be out of the play-offs. |
