I spent much time and money travelling the country this (and many previous) season, supporting my team and the manager, even though my opinion is that PJ is NOT the man to take this club forward.
To be called a numpty because i dont agree with you or that all my views are not 'in your opinion' positive is slightly arrogant on your part.
Chops problems were very well documented before joining our club. Maybe, just maybe the decision to sign him was the wrong one? But hey what do i know, im clearly not in your league when it comes to giving support.

That means we will likely be working with what we already have next season and maybe relying heavily on our youths. In that case we need a motivator and tactician...PJ ticks neither box. We need a younger man with enthusiasm and a fresh approach.

We have got serious problems with our recruitment policy and as has been stated by the club many times, the manager is responsible.

I am the only one worried by this headline?
I wouldnt trust him with someones else money, let alone me own...apart from the taxi fare(one way) home.
He has wasted too much already and as for Murphy, send him back too. Not good enough, too expensive and how many times have we seen loanees throw the towel in once they have a permanent deal. As was pointed out by an earlier post, first stop should be league one teams who miss out in the play offs and we could do a lot worse than the Dons current manager....a very talented rising manager. |

Some of you on here are as deluded as clegg and Jewell.
IMO (based on missing two games this season) Jewell is not and will never be the man to take this club forward. Too many mistakes in personnel, selection, he cannot get away from the 'old guard' approach and he has failed to motivate on a consistent basis those players that in the main he has brought to the club.
I have never believed in constant changing of managers but our problem has been failure to identify the right man for the job in the first instance.
Lets get rid of Jewell, get Clark/Robinson/ODriscoll in on a 3 year contract and lets see this club rebuilt from the youths/lower leagues. The players are out there, we need the person in who can see beyond mates from the past.

Just go, you are not up to the job.
Just as we have relied on players (wrongly) that were past their best, so we have with the manager. Lets have someone younger, kean with fresh ideas and no 'mates rates' contracts.
Quite prepared to give such a manager a three or five year plan as Im sure many fans would. This man will not lead us forward but i have no doubt he will still be here in august which IMO will mean another wasted season.

PJ was backed into a corner(injuries and suspensions)to play Hyam and Drury and they saved his bacon.
First opportunity (Brighton he was scapegoat and hauled off) he was 'rested' and hasnt hardly been seen since. Despite talking him up, PJ obviously doesnt rate the boy. Contrary to about 15000 fans. |
