Norris Talks Continue
at 11:46:50

Before Delaney sign every one was like hes after money blah blah blah. He then signs and everything is rosy.

McAuley before he sign must be waiting for another club to come in blah blah blah now it looks almost certain he will sign and everything is rosy.

Now it Norris who is getting it from you so called supporters.... this is an important contract for all three players. Leave them take there time. None of you know why they have taken their time and until they come out and say they will not be signing a new contract stop talking sh*te and support the team.

Keane Could Make Australia Move
at 14:27:24

Blue em away ... Cost does not mean automatic success. Just look at Man City. He got the club into the PL, yes he had money but the Irish investors who took over were happy to spend the money. Any manager would have done the same but not any manager would have got them up and kept them up. Even the chairman Niall Quinn said when Keane left he transformed the club into a PL club, a change from their yo-yo status.

He failed at Ipswich. So don't try and say he did not do a good job at Sunderland because that is you not knowing what you are on about.

You're a t*t not a n*b :)

Keane Could Make Australia Move
at 13:22:01

blue em away ... Getting them to the PL in his 1st season and kept them there the following season is not a success ? Ipswich would only love if that happened.

Sunderland were annoyed that he quit half way through a season, none would argue he did a good job there and all were glad he got them up and kept them up.

So for PJ getting to the PL and keeping them there is not a success ??

Your a t*at not a div.

Garv.... you are a div... He tried , he failed , it happens every day, managers lose their jobs, should they all never coach or manage a team again... no, they move on.

Win New Roy Keane Book
at 16:52:01

Was Roy involved personally with this book ? I'm tempted to buy it but would be disappointed if the book was not a balanced read, ie. The good with the bad of his tenure.

Some people might think there were no good points but that is unfair.
Would love to hear from anyone that has read it though.

Jewell: Delaney and McAuley Offered New Deals
at 15:50:36

They have been offered contracts ...

Who is to say they will accept, but if they do then it will be good for the club. I think PJ realizes he will not get better players in the summer than these two, those who would be a step up from them in class are more than likely not for sale or too expensive too buy, it would have been a big risk letting both go and replacing them with similar/weaker players.

Delaney Added to Irish Squad
at 16:29:19

Shoopdelang :

ROI have been no poor than England or any of the British Counties, at least the Irish lads play with heart and determination to make up for the lack of ability, England are meant to have a team full of superstars and continue to under achieve. So you might think the ROI are poor but i can tell you with all their superstars England are a lot worse.

Town Amongst Trio Targeting Spurs Youngster
at 10:25:37

PJ is contradicting himself with this signing. He has a lot of young talent in his squad and keeps stressing the point he wants them to go out on loan and get experience.

Looking at his starting line ups since he took over he prefers more experienced players. So is he going to buy this 19 y/o lad and loan him out ? Not play him as much as he would if he were that bit older and experienced more ? I think he needs a more shrewd player with the experience for this position.

Yes he needs to buy young players but when people say young do they mean 18/19 or 23/24 bracket ?? Have Ipswich got the time for 19 year old lads to learn their trade, when the club are so desperately trying to get to the PL asap.

Jewell: Contract Talks Ongoing
at 15:55:44

Ipswich Town would be in serious trouble but for Norris and his goals this season ...

It fine saying replace him, but whoever you replace him with must score goals otherwise your no better off, if it is Bullard who signs then that's ok because he has shown he can score goals from Midfield but if it's not it has to be some one who can take over the midfield scoring from Norris.

Jewell: It\'ll Be Better Next Year
at 15:45:23

While he cannot be totally blamed for the recent bad run, he is still the manager and if he and the club want to sell season tickets then talking a good game is not the way.

Get a bit of fight back into the players and have a good end to the season and that will help a lot instead of talking it. While it is easy to blame the old regime that is not always going to be possible.

Look at the Scunthorpe manager, only took over during this season, and already has found himself sacked. You don't hear him blaming the last manager or the players he has to work it. He was the manager and responsible for results on the pitch.

Jewell Set to Make Changes for Scunthorpe Clash
at 13:03:46

It makes no sense.

Why complain about having a small squad and then send players out on loan.

Why say some of the younger players are not ready when you have a 17 year old playing week in and week out, regardless of how good Connor is he is still relatively inexperienced, so why not play O'Connor and Hyam and Smith. These are Ipswich players who must be if all fit bursting to get in. I bet you would see a lot more effort and heart than some in the last few games.

Not play all of them together but give them a run. Scunthorpe at home is as good a game as any. They have all played at some stage this season and have good performances.

Jewell Waiting on Bullard But Looking to Loans
at 11:01:13

Starting to sound very familiar ....

Key players injured...
Might have to play more youngsters...
Looking at loan players to come in but having no luck...

Keane had a good start to the season then things started to go wrong, not all his fault. Loans didn't happen when needed. Key players got injured. Jon Walters acted the tit and was sold. Had to play the younger lads more than he would have hoped.

Now look at Jewell since he took over. Had an excellent start, but things starting to go against him, with injuries, suspensions and not being able to attract loan players.

I will say come the summer he will work to ship some out and some in, should the club fail to get Jewell at least half of his targets then next season will be the same story as this. I hope Marlon King will not be one of those players, if Ipswich and Paul Jewell are serious about promotion they need a better quality player.

Walters Again Hits Out at Keane
at 11:14:54

Fletch Keane doesn't slag off other player or managers by name. I think he's a bit above that. He could have had his say on Walters plenty of times but refused. For the posters above, Ipswich town have not been in the PL for a while, Keane wanted to change that. That includes the running of the club on the playing and coaching side, bring in his own people, which as manager he is quiet entitled to do. There is no sentiment in football. Fans want results. Not still being stuck in the championship next season , but never mind at least we have the coaches klug and woods still here thats the main thing right....?

Walters Again Hits Out at Keane
at 10:48:18

I think Jon should be more worried about getting back into the Stoke side, came on last night with 5 min to play, and it looks like it only going to get worse for him, KJ and Fuller played last night, Tony P has said Eidur G will be in contention after Xmas once fully fit so Jon could be 4th choice. So stop worrying about Keane and get on with your job you plank.

Good News on Leadbitter Injury
at 10:18:06

Garvan !!!!! he was not a bit aggressive, would never get stuck in , he thought having one or two silky moves in his drawer was enough, Leadbitter is passionate and aggressive, motivates people around him, will always give 110% sometimes Garvan looked disinterested. Keano a crap manager, how do you reckon that one, nobody was going to take that job a year ago and do any better than he has done, it took him a year to get it to his standard and already the signs of that are there, commitment, passion, high tempo, nice football, good team moral, dead wood gone, working hard on new sigings.... so these arent the days, take your dark clouds and jump back under the duvet, because you seem a depressing man !!!!
