Town's U18s were beaten 2-0 by Charlton Athletic at Playford Road this morning. The Blues ended the game with 10 men after Northern Irish U17 international midfielder Josh Carson was shown a straight red card in the 85th minute for a wild lunge.

Town's U16s were also defeated by the same opposition, the Addicks running out 3-0 victors in that fixture.

U18s: Ranieri, Bennett (Traynier 60), Meekings, McKeown, Cranmer, Brandon, Cawley, Hyam, Carson, Clark, Lavery. Unused: Butcher, Gallifant, Simmons.

I watched this game we were the better team and had a few u16 in team, I also heard the U16 score was 2 - 3 not 0 - 3 and they had younger boys in their team too. Hard for defence without the fantastic Eastman, Struggled without him.
