![]() Friday, 18th Jun 2010 15:23 Town have confirmed the pre-season friendly against Dutch side PSV in Eindhoven on Saturday 17th July (KO 7pm). News of the match first surfaced two weeks ago. The game will be part of a fans’ day at the club managed by Sir Bobby Robson between 1990 and 1992 and again from 1998 to 1999. Tickets will cost between €5 and €15 with PSV making donations to charity from funds raised. We understand that Town are looking to organise two more games as part of a tour of Holland. The Blues last played pre-season games in Holland in the summer of 2006 when they faced Willem II and Dortrecht as well as Belgian side Zulte Waregem, all three matches ending in 1-1 draws. Town and PSV last met in a friendly at Portman Road prior to the start of the 2001/02 season, which the Dutch side won 2-0. Earlier today, Town confirmed a home friendly with a Spurs XI on Tuesday 3rd August. West Ham visit to Portman Road on Saturday 31st July, while the Blues will travel to Southend on Friday 9th July.
