Town loanee Darren O’Dea has been named in a provisional Republic of Ireland squad for their Carling Nations Cup game against Wales at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin on February 8th.

O’Dea has previously won three full caps. Former Blue Jon Walters is also included in the squad.

RYITFC added 20:50 - Jan 24 Im not comfortable with him in the team, Sometimes you look at him and think he's quite a good player, But then he will do something that makes you nervous. Ultimately he's not a natural full back. Would like to see Shane O'Connor make that position his own.
