Town loanee Darren O’Dea has been named in a provisional Republic of Ireland squad for their Carling Nations Cup game against Wales at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin on February 8th.

O’Dea has previously won three full caps. Former Blue Jon Walters is also included in the squad.

I thought he was good Saturday and pretty reliable against the arse, before however I havnt been impressed.

ah legoman but do i know the off side rule?!! Garv, agreed but was that cause he too had been 'Keaned'. first few games everyone raved then he lost it a bit, sound familier?!!

A decent centre half. Not sure about him at left-back. His performances have been very up and down. Suspect the dealto extend his loan was done before PJ arrived. Still Paul must rate him to select him on Saturday.

Im not comfortable with him in the team, Sometimes you look at him and think he's quite a good player, But then he will do something that makes you nervous. Ultimately he's not a natural full back. Would like to see Shane O'Connor make that position his own.
