Linchpin defender Gareth McAuley is with the Northern Ireland squad for their Carling Nations Cup match against Scotland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Wednesday when he will be hoping to add to his 25 caps and one international goal (Sky Sports One/HD1 7.30pm). Striker Connor Wickham is in the England U19 squad for their friendly against Germany at Chesterfield on Tuesday (MUTV 7.15pm). Wickham has previously won three U19 caps, scoring one goal, and made his U21 debut in November, also in a match against Germany. Town loanee Darren O’Dea will be with the Republic of Ireland squad for their Carling Nations Cup game against Wales at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin on Tuesday (Sky Sports One/HD1 7.30pm). O’Dea has previously won three full caps. Town’s Mr Versatile Jaime Peters has been named in the Canada squad for their friendly against Greece in Larissa on Wednesday. The 23-year-old midfielder, full-back and very occasional frontman has previously won 23 full caps for his country. Márton Fülop, 22 caps, and Tamás Priskin, 30 caps and eight goals, will be with Hungary for a friendly against Azerbaijan in Dubai on Wednesday. Young uncapped keeper Ian McLoughlin and three-times capped midfielder Conor Hourihane are in the Republic of Ireland U21 squad for their friendly in Cyprus, also on Wednesday, but Shane O’Connor, who was a late call-up, has withdrawn due to illness. Town striker Ronan Murray is on standby. Defender Troy Brown has been named in the Wales U21 squad for a friendly against Northern Ireland at the Racecourse Ground, Wrexham on Wednesday. Brown, 20, has previously won one U21 cap in addition to appearances at U19 level. Academy midfielder Josh Carson has been named in the Northern Ireland U21 squad for that game. Carson has previously won one U21 cap. Town's other Northern Ireland U21 international, striker Caolan Lavery, is sidelined with a knee ligament injury.
