With the talent that seems to be emerging in our youth sides along with some shrewed moves in the transfer market in the summer will there actually be a place in the town line up for Kieron??

He hasn't wasn't exactly a permanent fixture in the starting line up and from what I've seen of Carson i would prefer to give him a season to show us what he can do!

If we can get him on a pay as you play deal, I don't seem the harm of him coming back, as like Jimmy he can change a game with a moment of brilliance.

Would be a fantastic free signing in my opinion. A fit Dyer would walk most premier sides let alone the championship. If it happens I just hope he has some better luck with injuries.

Got to say, didn't think he brought much to the table on his return. As posted, surely only a pay per game contract would suit with his injuries.

Would be a very good experienced and versatile signing on a free to help the young kids come through ,if he plays half the games of a long season it is a bonus . Warnock signed Derry for the same reason and he has gone on to play in all games .

With Bullard and Dyer adding experience (Premier League + over coming serious injuries) to the youngsters I think it be a marvelous thing for the club if we did somehow manage to sign them. A real statement of intent and a big step in the right direction.
Dont forget Dyer is a big game player and has plenty of international experience. Connor Wickham and the other young talents could learn alot from these two.

Thinking there is no room in our squad (or any squad in this league) for Keiron would be a Roy Keane type of bungle.

With Norris on his way in the summer then a Dyer may be the answer

All, come on and get real - rose tinted specs off - He was here a month and missed more games than he played in.

Even on a free I would assume that he would expect more money than any of our existing squad and the wages could be better spent elsewhere.

He WAS a great player but the injuries have taken their toll and you'll struggle to see another team take him in the summer, what is it? about 17 games in the last 3 - 4 seasons? good luck with that.

If we want another Pablo - signed because of sentiment and not footballing sense i.e. getting a sprinkling of brilliance during a whole season of general disappointment - then sign him up, but you have to accept what we get and not complain when it all goes pearshaped (fat chance of that on here!).

And those using the youngsters as a reason for getting him in, If he wants to help our youngsters get him to retire and join town on a coaches wages.
