Jewell Could Look at Dyer Again in Summer Tuesday, 12th Apr 2011 14:13 Blues boss Paul Jewell has confirmed that he would be interested in bringing loan midfielder Kieron Dyer back to Portman Road in the summer if he was available. The 32-year-old finished his one-month loan back at Town at the weekend and returned to West Ham where his contract is up at the end of the season.
Jewell said he had been keen to keep Dyer until the end of the season: “We spoke at length, me and Kieron, and I spoke to West Ham on Friday morning to see if we could extend it.
“They didn’t come back to me with a no, but Kieron spoke to the manager Avram Grant and he said he wanted him to feature in some of the games between now and the end of the season.
“That’s his club and he has to go back and if things change in the summer we would be interested.”
