New CB 17:21 - Aug 17 with 1321 views

I know others have posted this, but I'd love it to be Grant Hanley, preferably a permanent but a loan would be ok too and is more realistic given his Newcastle wages ( I'm assuming these are high).
In my opinion he'd improve the back line in both the short and long term. Good age too.

Out of interest would anyone take Shackell on a free? Factoring in ex Norwich and age etc....

Shackell seems to have fallen way back at Derby over the past few years. Would have said he was their number one CB a couple of years ago and he's still only 33

IIRC, I think I saw that Derby had made Shackell available for loan/transfer. He'd be a decent addition on a 6 month/years loan.
