Assessing the players 22:02 - Jun 20 with 1211 viewsMattinLondon

I only played Sunday League but if a new player wanted to join then it was pretty obvious within a few minutes whether they were any good or not.

Do you think it’s the same at championship level or are the margins far more subtle compared to L1 standards? Was just wondering what with the new manager and preseason training almost round the corner.

How did that happen below? Anyway I would guess it is about if there can be improvement as much as how good they are now.

Whether they will fit (or can adapt) into the tactical system, footballing intelligence, how the personalities go together in the squad, etc.

Obviously a more complex. pressured and full-time environment than Sunday league, less difference between the Champ and L1.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?
