I do believe in PL. Eveything he says makes sense. At last we have a manager who is not so worried about his own salary that he won’t say the obvious. I get the argument about the money that ME may (of may not) have put in, but there is one common denominator to all our failed managers and inevitable decline to L1 and that’s Marcus Evans. No budget, crap signings, journeymen, poor, poor decisions at every turn (except a decent 18 months under MM, before the lack of money caught up with him). My first game watching Town was in 1976 and I can’t ever remember the club being run this poorly. And one person runs this club. When was the last signing we were truly excited about? The only thing I can hang onto is that PL, given time, may get us back up from L1. Or he’ll f*** off, killed by ME’s lack of interest and money. Humiliating to be this bad. So humiliating. |  |
