Just finished reading the Kevin Beattie Story 19:07 - Jan 15 with 281 viewsBent_double

I know I'm a bit behind the times, but what a superb read - a must for any true Town fan. I never knew he almost signed for the budgies once his time here was over - well done to the club for refusing to release his registration!

Such a shame his career at Ipswich and with England was cut short by bad injuries and probably even worse advise/handling of those injuries by medical professionals at the time.

I've googled 'Kevin Beattie statue fund' but couldn't find a link to donate - anyone got a link to the website for that please?
