If we are talking about Switzerland's penalty that was an absolute joke of a decision. VAR will be good for certain aspects of the game, but when it's subjective I have no doubt some ridiculous decisions will still be made ala last night!

That's the biggest problem with VAR. It's OK for deciding if a player was offside or if a foul was committed inside the penalty area or not. But it's been used to decide whether often trivial contact is worth a penalty. Highly subjective and not a "clear and obvious error".
