We’ve all grown quite tired with the constant formation tinkering. Having a couple of formations to switch between is fine as it makes us more flexible when needed. I think we should ditch the 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 and rotate between the 4-4-2 and the 3-5-2/ 4-4-2 diamond. The first allows our wide players ( not Judge!) to have some game time and the 3-5-2/ 4-4-2 diamond allows Judge to play centrally and gives KVY and Garbs more freedom to attack with Skuse between the Defence and Midfield. These have been our 2 most successful formations this year by a long way and would give us some much needed consistency.
Barring the first half at Coventry, have we ever played well in a 4-3-3 or 4-2—3-1 this season?
