80-81 season for me. I was 12 at yhe time and living in derby and not from a football loving family, i was totally in love with ipswich town,and still am to this day., but i just remember saturday afternoons listening to the radio and hoping it would be our match on, and listening to the european games and that final i will never forget, i was sat on my bedroom floor listening to it with my fingers crossed the whole match!. It meant everything to me, theres been some great moments since then and i get a huge buzz everytime i go to a game even now. I love the team and the club whatever happens. |  |
