The next season may not start for a number of months anyway.
Why not simply wait and finish this one when it can be done so that there is integrity to it, even if that means that some players available now to clubs won’t be then.

I was, like you, in favour of just waiting and finishing this one when it can be done. But Herbivore made some good points in that a number of smaller clubs may go bust by then. There won't be much integrity to it if that happens, or even if it's just that "some players available now to clubs won’t be then."
It's a real mess to be honest and without anything already in the rules, there's no perfect solution. |  |
