Winter riding is looking a tad unpleasant (Was today for sure and it's not even winter yet)
So, thinking of either a turbo trainer (you put yer bike on it) or a normal exercise bike. Any recommendations / thoughts etc?

Same down in Cornwall, storm comes through and no cycling for 2 weeks, few of those and that’s your fitness down the tubes for those hills...
turbos are awful things but they have their place. |

That was what a fellow rider told me we did on day 2, Falmouth to near Bude. Nearer Falmouth as once we got onto Bodmin moor wasnt so bad. I heard North Devon was the worst of D&C? | |

Haven’t cycled up that way but I have heard it’s brutal, I live near Falmouth so may well have heaved up that very hill, there are a number of 20% plus round here, luckily they don’t go on too long....
