“Hey Lee,

If it’s true and Phil has been banned, this is an incredibly tone-deaf, ludicrous decision which has backfired on you within minutes of the announcement.

They have done more for the club over the years than Mr Lambert has, and ever will do.

They maintain an unbiased, largely polite (when they are able to get to the threads quickly enough!) website, one which makes our club respectful, compared to the dross you see on other boards.

This is a bad, bad move - and you may have just burned any remaining bridges of goodwill you had left.

You seem like a decent guy from what I’ve seen and heard. This is poor.”

Dear Lee

I am writing to appeal the decision made by Paul Lambert to ban Phil Ham from press briefings with the club.

As managers come and go, players are nurtured, bought and sold the one constant for my years as a town fan partucually in the digital age has been the dedication for fan lead journalism provided Phil. I don't know Phil on any level and have indeed never communicated with him, but the communication he publishes is the way I connect to my childhood club.

The reasons Paul has given for his ban are atrocious and I would suggest you firmly get your own house in order before blaming the most prominent supporter community members. This is nothing short of a PR disaster for the club, an embarresment of the highest order, and at a time when Paul's stock was running low due to inept decisions and nonsense communication has proved the straw that broke the camels back probably before its time was due. Phil will be here long after Paul, however with the fans this error of judgement is not only unforgivable its also unforgettable. I have no idea how a team sheet gets leaked but it's come from someone on your payroll. The person that posted it did so because of the same reason anyone posts to social platforms which is to gain social recognition, Phil has no control over that person's actions and acted as quickly has he could, even passing his apology and that of the posters to the club.

I'm beyond ashamed to be associated with this club for the first time and it's just another unacceptable low that we have sunk to. You at the club have a serious decision to make over how to proceed. Whatever the decision is will upset either your employees or your fans but I would suggest you remove your employees heads from there own a*ses and realise upon which side your bread is buttered. The twtd community is one to be proud of as a club, well regulated and in good order compared to the shambles presented by our rivals, shutting It off is just a further step by this once great family club to alienate its self from a powerful supporter base.

You've scored an own goal. Sort yourselves out its an utter disgrace.
