He's really condescending and arrogant isn't he? 19:35 - Dec 3 with 441 viewsDublinBlue84

"I have a detailed view of all of the facts as to what is best for the Club, both financially and team development wise and I will use that unique and privileged access to make the decisions which I believe to be in the best long term interests of Ipswich Town.

Everything I have seen close at hand, behind the scenes and on matchdays this season gives me confidence that, despite what is always a bumpy path, we are on the right track."

Essentially Evans seems to be saying he knows what is going on and all of us have no idea what we are talking about so he's not going to listen to a word of what we are saying. Instead he'll stay in his echo chamber where everyone tells him everything is fine and the club will retain it's paranoid ways and deluded view that things are not bad at all and put it down to a small percentage of the fanbase being whipped up by the media.

It's clear our club is now plunged into the most dangerous situation in its existence and the people steering the ship are showing no sign of being able to address the issues at hand.

This is deeply worrying and I am now more concerned than ever.

Also big tip off to Gavin Barber for posting this on Turnstile Blues last night:
“No doubt Marcus Evans is wondering whether the latest bout of ill-feeling merits another of his public pronouncements (these tend to appear as intersections on the managerial line-graph curve, as it starts to head downwards), whether it’s time for another scattering of breadcrumbs to the starving masses.”

As someone famous once said, Insanity has been defined as doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. It seems Evans still hasn't learnt that lesson.

Yeah because not having a fitness coach around is a great for a set up.

There’s times when he shouldn’t bow to fan pressure if you really believe in something. But there’s nothing on the pitch to make that call on.

He’s being played or he’s an even worse judge of football than I thought.
