It was certainly one of the most memorable matches in 40 years of following the Town. As others have said the scenes were amazing...falling over, hugging strangers. I was living in Liverpool at the time, so walked back to my local pub after the match. There were lots of very complimentary comments about our performance from the scousers! Strangely it was much more memorable than the matches a few years later, which we won at Anfield. |  | | |

I still find it humorous that our worst ever top flight side managed to win there after so many years of SBR trying. |  |
