Dozzell ?? I would like to know the reasoning behind wanting him out as on his day is one of the best passers of the ball in the team, only weakness is his strength (can be overcome with growth and training) but if he was more of a Flynn downes strength wise then he would of been picked up by another club last summer.
As for the loans they will all be back at their respective clubs come end of season with only Troy parrot (Luke Thomas Injured) showing anything in recent weeks. |  | | |

There will be a lot players either getting moved on, or simply not being kept on (particularly given that PC will bring in his own players to mould his own team). None of the loanees have brought an obvious improvement, so they are easy decisions.
As eluded to today, the squad is too large. The state of the squad is absolutely ridiculous - we have 3 or 4 players of very similar ability in some positions.
I think it's less the ability of the players in the squad that is the problem, moreso it is the number of players (of relatively similar ability) that are vying for games. If we stuck to a fairly steady starting 11/ squad and base everything around a general group of 20/21 players, that seems much more sensible. [Post edited 6 Mar 2021 23:10]

The slightly sobering thought is that I'm sure all the loan players are currently earning higher wages than Town are able to pay. This should be considered when wondering how Cook is going to bring in "better players". |  |

....because being a midfielder you need to do a lot more than just pass the ball! We keep hearing this rhetoric that "he's a good passer of the ball". Yeah he is, but he's also not very effective in doing that at the moment either. |  |
