If there is a takeover then the Playoffs changes everything, as does promotion because Evans may not want to sell at that point or would be looking at double the original offer.
Ipswich in the Championship with Paul Cook is worth a lot of money, probably more than a gang of venture capitalists looking to buy to sell for a small profit would likely gamble on it I would suspect. Lets be honest we would have to spend a fair few million quid to get us Championship ready, let alone talking about promotion. |  |
