I would start to tear up contracts of players who are not doing it.

Just settle the contracts on 4 or 5 players that you don't want.

Then see how the rest respond.

It's a mentality thing. The players at this club have been allowed to coast along on easy street for YEARS (probably since under Mick). They've gone from an environment where there isn't much pressure to win; mediocrity is constantly excused; failure is rewarded, to an environment where all of that is going and standards are a lot higher. It should come as no surprise that players aren't magically performing to the required level. It's a long-term process. All Cook and fans can expect is the players at least show a want and desire to improve and come along for the ride. Those that don't will be shown the door hopefully.

Some people have been expressing their disappointment with the lack of new managers bounce. Even Klopp or Guardiola wouldn't be able to rouse this lazy mob.

Never have we had such an interesting summer to come. As many departures from this club as possible please !
