Giving lambert the January window to further bloat the squad with absolute toss just exacerbated all if our problems and gave Cook (or anyone else) a much worse hand than was needed.

To not give a new manager half a chance with the January window was criminal.

To be clear, this doesn't mean I'm not disappointed with us under Cook so far. Despite the hand he was dealt he should have done more, but I'm completely confident he will be the right man in the longer term.
