Quest HD on Freeview 10:11 - Aug 9 with 5509 views

The picture quality for the standard Quest highlights of the EFL is awful, even in the studio. Allegedly there is a Quest HD channel available through freeview on channel 114.

I've had a good look through the channels on my TV's in-built Freeview, and the BT box but can't find it. Have done a retune on both but still no sign of it. Anyone else encountered this problem and solved it?

Lack of HD has been a bugbear of mine since the highlights moved to Quest. Not resolved the issue to date, but fee your pain.

I normally just catch the highlights on the skysports website tbh.

I have the basic virgin package (no paid for channels) and the HD option is there. So it is def a free option, but don't know why it wouldn't be showing on freeview.

Standard resolution channels all have awful picture and sound quality now, but it us especially bad for any sport.

Quest HD on Freeview is only available in locations served by transmitters with Extended Freeview HD. If available it’s on CH 114. I don’t know where you are but the Sudbury transmitter which covers much of East Anglia doesn’t have it.

Is it possible to get it online and cast to your TV?

Even if only on catch up that would be useful.

Edit: just had a quick look and it appears that there is a Quest on demand app.

Thanks all, I've taken a look at the extended freeview coverage for my area and am dismayed to find that I live just slightly outside of range from the Storeton transmitter. If I lived about half a mile closer to the city centre, or half a mile further out I would be OK according the information provided by ukfree.tv

I suspect this is because I live very close to the two big parks in Liverpool, as the outline of the map seems to snake around them.

I will have to continue to make do with the standard definition for the other clubs and then watch the YouTube and Sky footage for a clearer picture of our games.
