It is difficult to understand how it is you can change Manager, change the squad and after winning 6-0 in the very next match produce the sort of performance fans had to suffer under the previous regime.

What make it worse, for me, is that we have pampered the players by travelling up two days before the match..

Something has to change. It is unrealistic to expect promotion when you have a Manager who in 28 league games has failed to win two consecutive games.
