Did they exchange insurance details at the scene. If there is an injury and insurance details are not exchanged then the matter should be reported to the Police.

The NIP would be issued automatically there is no guarantee a summons will follow. They might be asked to attend a driver awareness course, they are not just for speeding motorists.

The NIP must be issued within 14 days although there is no deadline for receiving it. It is the waiting that gets you could be months.

Well I’m not sure what I will spend my extra £7.70 a week on.

Correction it won’t be as much as that as they will claw back 20% of it in income tax and if I spend it on the High Street they will get 20% of what I spend back in VAT.

My last day gainfully employed was 14 years ago yesterday.

Too early to say but based on current state of UK politics a spoilt ballot is a distinct possibility.

Government spending, and presumably taxation, plans were all based on growing the economy.

Unfortunately there are no signs of the economy growing, Starmer & Reed seem clueless as to how to kick start it

The only thing that needs to be done is score first forcing your opponent to play.

Club developed player
at 08:47 13 Sep 2025

This was discussed on TWTD recently with Phil saying there had to be a club developed player in the 25 player squad.

Personally would be happier if could find this in black and white.

Google AI, which I suppose is a glorified search engine, doesn’t agree with Phil

“In the EFL Championship, clubs must include a "club-developed player" in their matchday squad, which is defined as a player registered with the club for at least a year before the end of their Under-19 season. Failure to do so results in the club being allowed to name only six substitutes instead of the standard seven or nine. “

If Google AI is right we broke the rules last night.

As you rightly say if anything this assassination strengthens Trumps regime it also takes the heat off other issues that were hogging the headlines.

This was a well planned assassination presumably carried out by a professional. There is no evidence whatsoever that the people behind it are on the left of US politics. Nor is there any evidence that the killing was ordered by anyone on the far right mind you Trump seems to be milking it.

Whoever was responsible it is sad that taking another’s life can be seen as a chance to make propaganda.

Mandleson sacked
at 12:41 11 Sep 2025

Starmer doesn’t come out of this very well. He is a ditherer, reminds me of Cameron. As you say the information wasn’t available when the appointment was made. Nothing more has really come to light since Starmer earlier backed his appointment, should have been sacked before today.
