Two games tomorrow
at 10:34 25 Jan 2021
Wondering who will be in the U23’s squad against Colchester.
A good win against Colchester will only add to the pressure on Lambert.
Anyone managed to book their Covid vaccination.
at 12:40 14 Jan 2021
Got message to book mine today. Website is a bit clunky but managed to get to the point where it asks you to book your date. Not showing any available dates, and code I have been given only valid for a few days. Tried to ring and can’t even get in the queue.
A14 overnight closures
at 17:02 11 Jan 2021
Working for 2 months between Copdock and claydon. Could it get worse? Well yes as today received advance notice from Highways England of overnight work on Orwell Bridge from 25th January to 12th March work include additional Speed cameras. Most of the time will be reduced for one lane but each carriageway will close, overnight, for a five night in March.
Nice bit of coordination.

Lincoln missed from the spot

But they have had more than their fair share of spot kicks.
Guess if you press enough in the opposition penalty area they will come. When was our last penalty kick in the League?
Catching Covid in a hospital environment.
at 23:04 2 Jan 2021
Two friends, in the last 7 days, have been tested positive for Covid-19 while in hospital.
One of them has been in hospital for two months tested positive yesterday, and he had been moved to a private room for his own protection. Week prior to Christmas. He is bring treated for cancer of the spine, paralyzed from waist down after collapsing at home hence bring a long term patient. His cancer went undetected despite frequent contact with Gap Surgery over several months.
It has been suggested that one of easiest places to catch Covid is in hospital. In a private room and having no visitors in the two months he has been in hospitals seems hard to understand how it can happen. He was moved from Peterborough Hospital to Hinchingbrooke as they needed his bed.
Any truth in this extra risk suggestion.

NHS covid App
at 21:50 1 Jan 2021
Anyone been contact via the App and told to self isolate, and is it followed up by a phone call?
Wife received instructions to self isolate for 4 days*. Other members of the household can carry n as normal and only have to isolate if she develops symptoms and then for 10 days.
She is in a wheelchair and hasn't been anywhere I haven't been with her.Difficult to understand why the App has contacted her but not me as I also have the App.
* Guess it took them six days get around to it.
All this seems to suggest, to me, is that the App still isn't fir for purpose.
Postponed matches due to Covid-19
at 16:54 28 Dec 2020
While EFL and Premier League postpone matches , due to COVID-19, in the early rounds of FA Cup games were forfeit.
Will the FA continue with their policy or should they treat the big clubs, who don’t show much respect to the competition, differently to the minnows in earlier rounds.
