 | Forum Thread | Mobile mechanic Ipswich recommendations please at 09:45 22 Apr 2025
Have a couple of warning lights showing over the weekend. Have messaged the guy have used in the past but no response. Looking for recommendations. Renault Kadjar ( diesel) message comes up “check injection “ Mileage is 43,000 at last service in January fuel filter was replaced, diesel system cleaner & diesel particle filter maintenance treatment- additive, soot/particulate filter regeneration ( whatever that is). Pretty sure problem will go away if reset after a diagnostic, other problems have in the past. Have to go to Southdmpton Friday, cruise ship waiting for me. |
 | Forum Thread | Conor Townsend at 14:46 20 Apr 2025
Just asked Google AI if he was injured. This was the response Conor Townsend of Ipswich Town was previously reported to be recovering from a knock, with an expected return date of April 13, 2025. Recent updates from Premier League indicate he is back to 100% and ready to play. While a past knee injury in the 2020-21 season caused him to miss time, there's no current indication of a recent injury. |

If Wycombe secure automatic promotion presumably he can be with us for last three games of the season. |

Why do people have to be some confrontational ? Why can’t some let comments go without feeling the need to stir things up further. I don’t envy Phil having to deal with it time & time again. If you can’t say something nice let it rest. |

 | Forum Thread | Next seasons Champions League at 10:57 11 Mar 2025
There is an article in The Athletic, behind a pay wall, that there could be 7 Premier League teams involved next year. Requires Villa to win this season competition & Spurs to win Europa League. Assumes we have a 5th club enter for heading the coefficient table. Crazy |

 | Forum Thread | From The Athletic on last night match at 13:00 27 Feb 2025
Harsh final sentence. Powering into the encyclopaedia of home league debuts from hell: Patrick Dorgu for Manchester United. His role in one of two wet concessions by United last night was surpassed in eye-bleeding terms by him hacking through the left shin of Ipswich Town’s Omari Hutchinson a few minutes before half-time. There are red cards, and then there is Dorgu’s. With 10 men, and gnawing incompetence notwithstanding, United edged the game 3-2. I’m not sure if that says more about them or Ipswich, who are increasingly wasting space in the Premier League. |
 | Forum Thread | FA Cup dilemma - team selection at 12:40 27 Feb 2025
With just two Premier League games next month, and on the back of a below par performance last night I really hope McKenna doesn’t make double digit changes for Forest game. For me Palmer has to start with a back four of O’Shea, Woolfenden, Burgess & Townsend. Midfield a question of who is available. If only because Forest won’t expect it would play both Delap & Hirst up front plus two wide players Would give Woolfie the captains armband if no Morsy. |

What are our expectations? An opportunity to define his leadership skills, or a Neville Chamberlin moment but without a piece of paper to wave. |
 | Forum Thread | Disappointing second half performance at 22:22 26 Feb 2025
A poor goal to concede, you would think we knew Maguire wasn’t much of a threat, hence the decision to leave him unmarked. But the biggest disappointment was the complete lack of threat against ten men. It was difficult to work out what the plan was, looked like it was pass it around and wait for a third goal to be gifted us. The players should be annoyed with themselves but not as annoyed as McKenna ought to be as he did nothing to change the pattern of play and must accept responsibility for another failure. As for making a substitution in injury time when we are behind…madness. We will go on now and beat Forest in the Cup. The last thing we need, if we believe we can still survive, is players & management dreaming about Wembley |
