Will we play this week before Christmas?
What 0rompted the goal being disallowed?
at 09:39 27 Nov 2019
It wasn't the referee he was happy to award it
It wasn't the linesman he saw no reason to flag.
It wasn't the Wycombe players they were claiming a fictitious handball.
There seems to be a suggestion that communication between officials was down I suspect this is à smoke screen to cover up the fourth official sticking his nose in.
Wycombe need to be openly reprimanded by the league for cheating. The club need to demand a full explanation regarding the decion making process.
Can you imagine the uproar if Holy hadn't saved a wrongly awarded penalty?
Suppose this is what you get in the third tier.

Just checked the league table
at 00:02 27 Nov 2019
We are still second five points behind the leaders and we have still played two games less.
We are still four points ahead third.
Lambert was right when he said you couldn't win the league in November. It is worth pointing out you cannot lose out on promotion in November.
Decisions didn't go our way but was some justice with the penalty save.
Fans get frustrated when things don't go their teams way. Before the internet you may have gone home and kicked the gate,or the dog but these days sites like TWTD provide an outlet for keyboard warriors.
Suppose we have to keep our fingers crossed that we don't draw on Saturday and 'earn' a draw creating another opportunity for bedwetters.
We have a run of being knocked out in round 3 to maintain and that requires getting past Coventry.

Special welcome for former Town youth player Matt Bloomfield who signed for Wycombe back in 2003 and has plàyed over 450 games for the Chairboys.
Labour's pension sweetner, not in the manifesto
at 22:34 24 Nov 2019
Can't work out how it is going to cost £58B. The decision to raise the pension age for women to 65 was made, under pressure from the EU, back in 1995 by a Conservative government. Labour had plenty of time, under Blair, to do something about it but chose not to.. Instead, in 2007, they announced plans to rise the pension age to 66 and then 67 for both men and women.
My wife had 17 years warning that she wouldn't receive her pension until she was 62. Annoyingly had she been born a day earlier she would have received her pension a year earlier. Plenty of time to get finances in order.
What was wrong was Osborne accelerating the process so it was complete two years earlier and then bringing the age up to 66 in 2020 for both m,en and women.
If any compensation is paid it should only be for the latter years which I would have thought wouldn't have cost £58B

Strange that there is a court order stopping her convicted killer being named or it being explained why.
Mail online have broken ranks and named him.

Can you remember who, before last night, was the last player to score an FA cuptie winning goal for Town?
Parked car - advice needed

Have an unexpected car parked on my drive. Suspect it's owner attends Suffolk One, the scroats will park añywhere with little consideration for residents.
Do I block him, or her, in or report an abandoned vehicle to Suffolk Police?
Edit posted as football thread bu corrected it straight away.

It is time we played at Wembley
at 20:54 11 Nov 2019
The most recent stat I can find is from Marçh 2017. 115 clubs have played a competitive game at the new Wembley.. 73 out of the 92 had at that time played at least one game there.
The EFL trophy may be the most tinpot competition Town have entered but if it gives the fans a chance to see ITFC at Wembley so be it.
It would be an overdue reward for Town fans to support their team at the National Stadium.

A12 north bound closed overnight J26 J27 Colchester. Worth remembering if you intend to hang around in Southend after the match.

Subject A12 / A14. Sent out from House of Commons on HoC stationary. Envelope franked by Royal Mail "50 years of Monty Python's Flying Circus" seemed quite appropriate.
